Returning Faulty & Unwanted Goods

At The Boudoir Shop we endeavour to make shopping with us as pleasurable and easy as possible. However, we know you may occasionally need to return items. Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of these items within 7 working days of delivery.

Cancelling an order

To cancel an order that has not yet been dispatched by us, please login to our site using your Username and Password and choose View Your Orders, then click the Cancel button next to the order you wish to cancel.

Returning an unwanted or incorrect item

To return an unwanted order and cancel your contract, please package the relevant items securely, in their original condition (we cannot offer refunds on any used items), and send them to us. Please include a note giving the reason for the return as Contract Cancellation. We will need to receive them within 7 working days from the date you took delivery. Once we receive notice of your cancellation of the order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase cost for the items as soon as possible.

In the case of a packing error please package the relevant item securely, in its original condition (we cannot offer refunds on any used items), and send it to us. Please include a note giving the reason for the return as Packing Error and state if you require a refund or the correct item despatched. We will need to receive it within 7 working days from the date you took delivery. Once we receive the incorrect item, we will send the appropriate article or process a refund as soon as possible.

Returning a faulty item

To return a faulty or damaged item, please package it securely, in the condition you received it, and send it to us by return, with a note outlining the problem. As soon as we receive the item, we will either refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge or dispatch a replacement. We cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge. If you have requested an exchange this will be sent free of charge.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as we cannot refund or exchange items lost in transit. If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item at your cost.

Reporting a shortage

In the unlikely event of your order not being complete in relation to the delivery note with your item, please contact us immediately by email info@theboudoironline.com or by phone on 0845 017 8765. Shortages reported beyond 7 days of delivery will only be recognised in exceptional circumstances.
